I do love this design. I have not seen this stitch before. Exquisite. I like that you are showing how to read the diagrams as I am not well versed in that aspect of crochet. I’m a little slow on reading the captions due to vision problems. If you could leave the captions on a little longer, it would help me a lot.

For those that ask how many stitches you need to start. It greatly depends on your measurements. I would make a chain that comfortably fits through your head. But bear in mind that you need to count the stitches on the raglan of your choice,multiply by 2 so you have one for each arm. Then depending on the body of the top make sure you have the correct multiples of your pattern.

I understand these are the corners, but how do I figure out the number of chains to start please?

What is the point of making a crochet video without ANY verbal instructions? You can't look at your work while also at the same time READING instructions on the computer screen. Why do you do this? I might as well read a pattern and I won't have to listen to this awful music. Moving on.
